My grandfather attended BGS in the late 1890’s and my three grandsons have followed in his footsteps. A “Family Tree” seems appropriate, long may it flourish.

 Proud to be an Old Bradfordian 

 I benefitted hugely from being a Direct Grant scholar. I would never have achieved a Cambridge Exhibition without input from the BGS staff at the time. This contribution is the nearest I can get to replicating for some young person the life long benefits which I enjoyed and continue to do so.  

 Only 5 years of my schooling (4th to 8th) were at BGS. However, I have always appreciated that it was those years which formed the brilliant core enabling me to become a highly regarded senior engineer. Supporting the 1662 Fund is a great opportunity to repay some of the value of my BGS years.
